John Payette
Sales Representative
John’s success began in Newmarket where his hard working parents raised six kids (5 girls and John) in an environment where the family home was more than just bricks and mortar. Home life and sports went hand and hand.
After a junior hockey career, John’s athletic talents earned him a full NCAA soccer and tennis scholarship to Lincoln Memorial University, in Harrogate, TN. After graduating with a Bachelor of Arts, John left as the schools all time leading scorer for soccer. He had professional training camp stops in Philadelphia, Canton, and Toronto before retiring from competitive play. In 2007, John was inducted into the Lincoln Memorial University Athletic Hall of Fame.
John has always been heavily involved with local community sports. Whether it be on the tennis court, soccer field, ski hill, or his favorite place, the hockey rink, he has become well connected with local sports leaders who are giving back to the Ottawa athletic community. The heart of a sports community is made up of trust, honesty, passion, accountability, and effective systems, all of which John firmly believes are essential to a successful real estate transaction.
Today, over 75% of their client base has been referred to them by satisfied homeowners within the Ottawa sports community earning the Sophie and John Team the prestigious Royal LePage Presidents Gold award for 2007. This award recognizes the sales achievement of the top 10% of Royal LePage Sales Representatives nationally.
Whether a family with children in house league sports, a competitive/recreational player, or simply a fan of the game, John is thrilled to make your acquaintance and help you with your real estate needs.
