Sophie SchramSales Representative Sophie’s knowledge of the changing Ottawa market place dates back to her days growing up in the Ottawa neighborhood of Alta Vista. Her foundation for family life can be attributed to her upbringing where her father’s sound Western Canadian values combined with her mother’s rich French Canadian culture highlighted the importance of family life in the home. Sophie attended McMaster University where she graduated on the Dean’s Honor list with an Honors Bachelor of Commerce. Having been a competitive skier in her youth, she became a certified ski instructor earning her the right to teach at well known Laurentian resorts such as Mont Tremblant, Ski Morin Heights, and Mont St. Sauveur. While obtaining her degree, Sophie continued to ski through her University years. She returned to teaching skiing after University in her spare time for the pleasure of helping kids get more out of the sport. Sophie’s calm demeanor, strong problem solving abilities and excellent organization skills have allowed her to find real estate solutions for a wide variety of buyers and sellers in both English and French. Her genuine interest and understanding of family requirements, knowledge of architectural trends, and overall skill in packaging a home for the open market are a few of the traits that have contributed to Sophie’s success in reaching so many home buyers and sellers. Her efforts have been a driving force behind the Sophie and John Team earning the Royal LePage Presidents Gold award, recognizing the sales achievement of the top 10% of Royal LePage Sales Representatives nationally. Living in the Ottawa suburb of Stonebridge with her husband John, Sophie enjoys reading, tennis and both downhill and cross country skiing. At times, a self proclaimed home body, she truly believes there’s no place like home. |
